...[+++]a do necessário, a coerência das posições dos Estados-Membros; Acorda na necessidade de prosseguir a análise da recomendação de decisão relativa às negociações com os Estados Unidos bem como a reflexão iniciada sobre a definição de um conjunto de princípios básicos comuns; e convida, neste contexto, a Comissão a efectuar uma análise aprofundada demonstrando se o estabelecimento de negociações a nível comunitário permitirá objectivamente um melhor resultado para todos os Estados-Membros assim como a definição de um interesse comum; Convida, neste contexto, a Comissão a precisar melhor as vantagens e riscos económicos, para a Comunidade e os seus Estados-Membros, de uma negociação global em cada um dos domínios identificados pelo Grupo "Aviação"; Sublinha a necessidade de aprofundar os problemas suscitados, especialmente os problemas jurídicos, à luz, nomeadamente, do parecer 1/94 do Tribunal de Justiça das Comunidades Europeias; Pede, por conseguinte, ao Comité de Representantes Permanentes que, assistido pelo Grupo "Aviação", elabore para a sessão do Conselho de Dezembro de 1995 um novo relatório sugerindo orientações ou decisões prioritárias tendo em conta a análise aprofundada dos elementos acima referidos".
RELATIONS WITH THE UNITED STATES - COUNCIL CONCLUSIONS "The Council Recalls the importance of its conclusions of 15 March 1993 and 14 March 1995 concerning the Community's external relations in the air transport sector; Considers that air routes between the Member States and the United States are of major importance to Community carriers; Stresses the need to strengthen the competitiveness of Community carriers on these routes and to take account of the interests of users and of the different regions of the Community; Takes note of the work to ensure that the positions of the Member States are consistent wherever needed; Agrees on the need to continue examining the recommendation for a decision on the negotiations with the United States
